Everything you need to know about little old me!

In December of 2023, I graduated with a Bachelor's in English (Professional Writing) from Kent State University. Since graduating, I have been on a journey to break into the publishing industry. I currently do volunteer copyediting and copywriting for Pleaser Magazine where I have learned how to work remotely as part of a large team, work collaboratively with authors, and adhere to an in-house style guide supported by AP guidelines.

I feel at home when I am editing. Whether it's bettering my own work or helping enhance another author's work, my mind is free from all distractions when it's time to track changes! Editorial work is the one thing I can see myself enjoying as a life-long career, and I hope to work for a publishing house in the future.

I am in love with both literature and film, so majority of my blogs posts are/will be about the media I consume and my opinions on such media. I hope through this site you'll get to know me a little better, enjoy.
